Just Psychobabble! My collection of Psychodynamic Techniques
I first wrote this text as a way to track my notes. Seriously. In fact, most of the original notes are in a spiral bound notebook that has a soccer player on it. No joke. It was a way to help me understand really difficulty concepts and make them my own.
This book is a short collection of my understanding of classic psychotherapy techniques...turned on their head. In this text you will read about a variety of techniques from schools of thought that include psychoanalysis, analytical psychology, existentialism, and others. I address my thoughts of what therapy looks like, what growth can occur and various tools and interventions that one can use in therapy.
This is a clinician's guide and how I use various techniques.
If you want to learn how to apply a variety of techniques...have a basic grasp of what a session looks like in a psychodynamic lens...if you want to learn something that you will not pick up anywhere else, or even want to learn how to grow personally as a clinician. Get the text.
Oh...just an add in...this is also for those people who are in therapy and wanting to get the most out of it. Make sure your therapist knows their chops. You're worth it.
