The individual organized at the neurotic level is essentially neurotically organized; most psychological conflicts (and therefore, presenting problems) will center around issues of power and control, mastery, belonging, status, loss and gain, and so on. The existential terrors of life are not absent, but are (usually) safely contained within the holding-fields of the psyche and its layers. Raw “meaning,” to the extent to which it is ever experienced or perceived at all, is experienced only through the filers of the lower harmonics, often relegated to the realm of fairy-tales along with the other more primitive emotional contents belonging to the deeper harmonics. An unfortunate side-effect of being psychologically “mature” is that meaningful, primary experience is often put away with other childhood relics which continue to emanate psychic energy.
Yeah...so like...stop being dumb adults. Start watching cartoons.
